- Import class rosters via Google Classroom API
Google API Services
This application uses Google Classroom API to:
- Access class rosters with your permission
- Import student information for break management
- We only request and store essential student information needed for break tracking
Data Security & Privacy Compliance
We protect your data using industry-standard security measures and store it securely on Firebase infrastructure. We are committed to privacy-by-design principles and work to meet educational privacy standards. Schools should review our practices against their specific compliance requirements including:
- FERPA (US) - Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act
- PIPEDA (Canada) - Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act
- Provincial and territorial privacy legislation (PIPA, FOIP Act, etc.)

Important Notice: This service may not be suitable for all educational environments. Schools and districts should conduct their own privacy and security assessments to ensure compatibility with their specific requirements and policies.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for the duration of your account's active status. You have full control over your data with the following deletion options:
- Delete All Data: Remove all classroom data while keeping your account active
- Delete Account: Permanently delete your entire account and all associated data
- Both options immediately and permanently remove all selected data
- Deleted data cannot be recovered once the process is complete
- You can access deletion options through the Data Management section in your account settings
We recommend backing up any important data before proceeding with deletion. Data deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

By using ClassCheckpoint, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Use the service for its intended educational purpose
- Not share access credentials
- Not misuse or attempt to manipulate the service
Acceptable Use
ClassCheckpoint is designed for educational institutions to manage student break times. Any other use is prohibited.
